I read an article on line about a new author and had read it, because I knew her.

I didn't have great expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. I could tell in a few spots how young she was, but the story was really good. The characters were intriguing and I can tell that there is more to them that you don't know. I can't wait to read the next book and learn more about all of the characters. The most amazing thing about this book is If she can write this well at 13, she's going to be on the best sellers list in no time.

Please try again later. So far I love this computer. I do a lot of Photoshop, graphics, and so on and it handles multiple opened programs very well, especially compared to what I used to have. I would say my graphic needs are intermediate use.

Kindle Feature Spotlight

I'm not a professional graphics designer, rather a retired interior designer doing volunteer DTP work. That said, i would think this computer as is has a good range of power for some professional use. The included 12GB RAM and the i7 8th generation microprocessor as well as the graphics card is ample for my use and more than enough for most people.

I compared, as we all do, and for the money it is a very good deal!

Plus I felt upgrade capabilities if needed were good enough for my use. My family has been gravitating to Acer products without disappointments.

I will update if I find any major problem flaws. I ordered this laptop on Prime Day and had high expectations for it. My previous laptop that I used and still have, is another Acer with an i3 processor and I was definitely looking forward to the upgrade. Like another reviewer on this site, my laptop arrived with a defective screen. The screen had horrible white spots caused from light leaks at all four corners.

It wasn't as noticeable when the screen was displaying normal colors or white, but it became very noticeable when the screen was displaying shades of gray or blacks. The replacement arrived in two days. This screen also has the same back light bleeding issues, but it's not as severe, so I'll keep it because I like the rest of the machine. But defective screens are not acceptable in computers selling at this price point. Other than the defective screens and the keyboard being sort of small and uncomfortable, I really like this machine.

It's my third Acer and the only one to have this screen Issue. I understand some of this is due to the nature of the IPS screens having light bleed, but this severe isn't acceptable at all. I returned the first one I ordered because the backlight went out on the second day. I got a replacement which in days started making scratchy sounds. Acer customer service asked me to send it for repair. I ended up returning it because the Acer repair policy would render me liable if something happened to the defective brand new computer during the trip to the Acer repair center.

Acer asked me to send itfor repair. I decided to keep it still as it will mostly be connected to a monitor. Can't beat the price for these specs. Love it's big matte screen, and solid good looks. While not a gamer, I use it for heavy duty, graphic design work, and so far it runs like a charm. This Laptop takes less than 30 secs from off. It runs everything I have thrown at it even WoW. Don't waste your money on this laptop. First, it comes loaded with bloatware and uninstalling did not work as several apps Ebates, netflix would reinstall after rebooting forcing me to do a refresh of the windows install to get rid of the bloatware; 2 the touchpad was not flush with the case and the right front side sloped downward; 3 the scrolling feature on the touchpad acted like a rubber band, thus as I stopped scrolling on the touchpad the screen would reverse scroll about a quarter page; 3 internet browsing stopped working both for Firefox and the resident Microsoft Edge-literally could not load a single page from either browser regardless of the network I was connected to even though other internet based functions worked e.
