I am from the South and no one who is actually from the South uses the word "ain't" every other word as this author does. There is nothing humorous in this book as hard as the author tried. One person found this helpful. Hot Flashes and Southern Sasses: I even put it in my OWN stocking! She tells it like it is in the South- not the backwoods- but almost I love er down-home humor and dry wit.
It's a good night read- or as she puts it- a good bathroom read.

The only problem there is my family kept banging on the bathroom door wanting to know when I would be out! I just couldn't put it down. Read it and weep- with laughter! You just KNOW where she's comin' from! I thought her first book, "Why, Shut My Mouth! I laughed until I almost peeded in my big girl panties.
Could not put it down. Can't wait to read the next one. Keep up the good work Ms. Faithful fan for life. Kathleen Harper has done it again!
