I loved this book! It helps so much to know that we are not alone in our guilt when we forget our reusable grocery bags or when we just can't stand to pay the extra dollars for organic produce.

Every household should have a copy to refer to. Jen Pleasants puts into words what we're all thinking and feeling: I found "Bag Green Guilt" to be extremely refreshing. Rather than making me feel more anxious and stressed about all the things I should be doing for the environment but aren't, it actually relieved some of my eco-anxiety which I didn't realize was so bad until I diagnosed myself reading the book.

Although it is clear that Ms. Pleasants is very devoted to protecting our environment, she has a healthy perspective. Trying to be an environmentally responsible citizen can be overwhelming but "Bag Green Guilt" reminds us that every bit helps and that we can't beat ourselves up over taking a hot shower once in awhile.

At the same time, the book educates us about new ways to protect the earth,many of which I have already incorporated into my daily life. I found it enlightening AND fun to read! I have major eco-guilt, and just finished this book.

There are so many other, more productive things we can be doing together, and we will. I think a lot of women, especially, will relate to Jen's admissions of her own guilt about green steps she fails or finds challenging to take, and how she deals with it.
