The author did ZERO actual writing. I feel bad for a great athlete like Brock to get something like this on his resume. Read like a last minute middle school students book report about a famous athlete. One person found this helpful 2 people found this helpful. This book is just extremely painful to read. Basically it is a bunch of commentary about the video on Brock from WWE. The video is quoted at least 10 times in each chapter. The rest is just statistics about his wrestling records.

I'm almost positive I didn't see one direct quote from Brock in the entire book so you basically have a book where the author has thrown together everything he could dig up on him and threw it into a book. For those of you waiting for a Brock Lesnar book, get his book entitled Deathcluth. This book goes over Brock's athletic and entertainment career. It starts off with newspaper results from Brock's high school wrestling career which was rather boring.

This book goes over Brock's athletic and entertainment career. It starts off with newspaper results from Brock's high school wrestling career which was rather boring. Everything in this book was based from Brock's here comes the pain documentuary dvd, minnesota state newspaper clippings and interviews from former coaches, teammates, and friends, etc.

I'd rather of had read quotes from Brock himself. That being said it's still a decent book woth buying and with me being a hard core mma fan I will pay full price and then some on any books like this. One person found this helpful. This book is a terrible read.

It seems like most of it was clipped out of a local newspaper and reads like it was written by someone in high school. If you really want it, wait a year and it will probably be selling for around a dollar or so. Brock Lesnar's real book is coming out in April so I would encourage you to wait for that.

The sources the author used were primary from second hand interviews from local newspapers and even a documentary from WWE. No real incite, I would say don't waste your time with this book. Good book for new fans, but not for hard-core fans aren't likely to find any novelty in it.
