One Grave Less: Number 9 in series (Diane Fallon Series)

This is, by far, the best mystery. I particularly liked the way you moved from one stage to the other.

One Grave Less: Number 9 in series by Beverly Connor - Books - Hachette Australia

The back and forth from jungle to museum was brilliant and kept the suspense moving at a pretty cool speed. I bought the whole series of books, and the characters are great, the books are entertaining, but I like more investigation, science, clues, etc. Really, if any one person was abducted, klunked, stabbed, or shot at as often as these folks from this small suburb of Atlanta, CNN would be all over them as magnets for danger.

It's just not believable. So if you just read one book, it's great, but when you read the series, it's really too much trouble for one team. I do love the characters, however, and it was fun to follow them and see them evolve. I read all of the Diane Fallon books, in order, one after the other.

They're like potato chips - one just isn't enough. Lots of interesting stuff about archeology, caving, etc. This last one, tho And it was a friendly tornado, too!

I think the author just ran out of ideas for plot twists and stuck this one in for lack of any other possibilities. Other than that little bit, it was a good book. I do agree, However, with one of the other reviewers - there was an awful lot of head thunking, getting shot at, and generally being abused - if I were in Dr. Fallon's position, I'd have quit those jobs in a hurry. Ninth in the Diane Fallon series. This book was split into two sections back and forth: The child is believeable, and beguiling. Mother's memories are not maudlin.

The child's memories are believable at a child's level, but informative at an adult perspective. Truly a satisfying adventure throughout.

Thank you Amazon for carrying this book and delivering it in such a timely manner. Author Beverly Connor supplements the Diane Fallon story with a parallel archaeological adventure in the South American jungle, which became annoying with the unending perils and coincidences. There is a big unexpected twist in the book and once I reached that part, the ending becomes a bit predictable. But overall, a good read and a wild journey.

I look forward to the next book in the series. One person found this helpful. I've enjoyed this series tremendously, and this book doesn't disappoint. With the cross-over of her other major character from another series adding a very cool aspect to the story, the action is nonstop and the characters continue to be true to their development.

What happen to Ariel; will Diane marry, will she maintain control of the museum. Who did he mean by 'us', and just who attacked him? Tough women and a very spunky little kid. That marks a successful book, at least for me.
