Okay, for whoever is reading this review don't listen to anyone who rated this book one star or anyone who says it was all about global warming and that it bored them to tears! So, max and the flock are on a mission in Antarctica which involves global warming. I don't know what people are talking about when they say the entire book is just about global warming cause it's NOT!
It talks briefly about global in the middle of the book and talks about global warming at the very end when max gives a speech about it and that's all. So if you are gonna let 5 out of pages in this book ruin the entire thing for you then that's fine but I'm not. Besides there is nothing wrong with learning something while reading. So one of the reasons I gave this 3 stars is because this series is beginning to feel a bit repetitive.
I'm not going to give spoilers but Couldn't JP come up with something else? That's what happened in the past I don't know I need something besides get captured then escape. Hopefully the next book will give me something new and different. And the final reason I rated three stars is because Max is kind of getting annoying!
Every time he tries to tell her that she runs off! Max needs to make up her mind! I feel bad for Fang because she keeps rejecting him even though she knows she likes him!!!!

Well, I had some complaints but overall I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the first 3 in the series. I look forward to reading the next one: The action, sense of humor, friendship, romance, and a strong heroine, and just the Team aspect- outcast kids together because of a common goal- I just eat that stuff up - made those three books into my top ten favorite books- along with the Hunger Games and Deltora Quest- Both AMAZING books, by the way.
And also- I've read up to book five: Ok- let's begin, shall we? One day my mom and I were at Wal-mart, and as my mom was paying for the groceries, i was taking a last minute look at the books section- where I found the Angel Experiment. I wasn't going to buy it at first-until I saw the phrase, "-Find out how she really feels about Fang" and some other cool stuff.
It was only 5 dollars, so mom allowed me to get it. When I brought it to school the next day- and finished it 7 hours later with school time. Maximum Ride was killed. Sorry, book 5 getting to me again.

Patterson to make Global Warming interesting and make that an enemy all of your millions of child, teen, and adult Max-fans want to fight Global Warming? The only thing that seemed Maximum Ride-style was the pizza. My advice is to just read And when the last book comes out, just read wikipedia to find out the ending.
You will just end up disappointed by the destructing fun, humor, and most of all HEART that was in the trilogy.

Overall, the book was awesome. I loved the storyline, and I thought the details were perfect. My favorite part in the book was when they found out they were going to Antarctica.

I thought that was a very lame thing, like you were struggling for something to say. I also thought that you could've had a big showdown with Max and Gozen. Max has a history of this, in every book there is always a big fight between her and a super-villain. I like the pattern, so when you decided to change it, I was very disappointed. Once again, the overall storyline and details were great.

We were all very excited when Maximum Ride: The Final Warning hit the book store. However, this book was such a disappointment. It just didn't seem to contain the same adventure or thrilling sequence of events that the first three novels had. My students felt that it was boring, that Patterson had joined the band wagon to add his views on the global warning issue, and used Max and the kids to deliver that message.
I only hope the next one will be more in the James Patterson style. Did this one put him to sleep, too? My students were definitely in agreement that this book wasn't worth reading. James Patterson has done an amazing job with this very interesting story.
And I read all the books with great joy really. And I would have given it five stars, if and only if James Patterson had done a better job at connecting some things in the book.. Sometimes the things that happened in the earlier books had nothing to do with the last books And the end of last book was quite ridiculous and I didn't like it that much But it's a good series, it was a bit depressing time to time but it definitely draws you in and gets you mesmerized to read them.
