A Moment in Time: The Salvation Series Book #2

Daws really did a fabulous job at drawing the reader in and detailing these serious issues. Not only did you see the impact on Hayden himself - but you also felt it in his interactions with Vi, Leslie, Reyna and Hayden's family. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future. I received a copy of this audiobook at no cost from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Full review posted at Bambi Unbridled. I forgot about the cause. I forgot about everything leading up to this one incredibly profound moment. This one moment that I chose was permanent. In that one moment…. I had finally erased my life forever. In that briefest flicker of time ticking away on the watch around his wrist, I do exactly what my soul is screaming in agony for me to do.

What my heart is pounding beneath my chest in anticipation for. God do I kiss him. By good moments and by bad moments. And for Hayden, his life has been comprised of many challenging and life altering moments. His character just captivated and consumed me, begging me to find out more about this beautifully complicated man. His story took my expectations and threw them out of the window. And what I was left with was an incredibly moving and powerful story….

That One Moment is one of those stories that just grabs you instantly and will leave you utterly captivated. This story is not easy. In fact, it has some very dark and intense moments. She answered all my questions and made me fall even more in love with this complicated man. There were so many moments where my heart just ached for everything that Hayden went through.

It was truly incredible to see him rise up from rock bottom and become a stronger man. Vi was far from perfect as she had her own demons to battle, but the connection that these two shared was unlike any other. She saw the man and not the scars…. And with lines like these: That One Moment is told from dual points of view and is incredibly well written. I loved everything about this story; from start to finish. It had the perfect mix of romance and angst. There were so many beautiful, gut-wrenching, heartbreaking moments.

I could just feel my heart being tugged at and I loved every moment of it. So, this is what I will leave you with. That One Moment will give you all the feels. It will make you laugh. It will make you cry. It will frustrate the hell out of you. It will break your heart. It will make you swoon—Oh, how it will make you swoon. But, most of all, you will fall in love. You will fall in love with these beautiful broken characters and I can only hope that their story will grab your heart, just as it did mine. This is definitely one of my favorite reads of Like I have said in my other reviews, I sort of read these out of order.

I have not read any of the other London Lover's books and I don't know that I am. Not because I don't think they will be brilliant, just that I may have to wait for a while. I am really just waiting on Gareth and Booker, maybe Vaughn too: I had no idea what to expect from these two. I had read in the other books about what was happening in their lives then and some of 5 glowing stars for this book!! I had read in the other books about what was happening in their lives then and some of what happened in the past.

To read it all, about Hayden's past and what lead up to him meeting Vi. It was heart breaking. I just don't know how else to put it. I am not going to give spoilers, but Lordy that boy about broke my heart. He was so much more than just his past, but it took a lot to get him to see that. Poor Vi, almost did me in to.

How could she not see how lovable she was? I cannot understand with all those footballer, bruiser brothers of hers that she could not see that she was their universe!! Her heart was just so soft sometimes and you cannot help but love the fact that she feels completely invisible.

The Age of Adaline Official Trailer #1 (2015) - Blake Lively, Harrison Ford Movie HD

I loved the chemistry that those two had, it was just crazy. I loved everything about this book. The highs, the lows and all the in-betweens. I love that you see other characters that are involved in their lives and how they all intertwine! There is nothing about this book that was not fabulous.

As a reader I sometimes get the sinking feeling right before a story turns on you and it is like a train wreck, you don't want to look, but there really is no choice. I had that feeling in spades with this book. I don't know how Ms. Daws puts all these feels and emotions out there without being tortured. I mean seriously, I would die!! I will continue my journey with the Harris brothers and all the other Lovers in London. View all 4 comments. The story starts up about few weeks after the last chapter of Not the One ends.

I think the way that Daws has Hayden tell his story is bloody brilliant. It shows his courage and his determination to stay well in a unique way I have not read yet. The story is refreshing and fun as it tugs at your heart. I love Hayden Clarke. At one moment, I thought my ovaries were going to explode with girlie glee. He has made so much progress with the help of his family and Leslie. Vilma, Vi, Harris is genuine and motherly. While she has had sadness in her past, she has a very loving family.

She has 4 sexy huge football soccer playing brothers are very over protective of her. Vi and her dog Bruce run straight into Hayden and into his life. The one reason I loved this story so much is because their relationship naturally. They are adorable together. They have to work at their HEA. I think it makes this story so much sweeter. Every day has twenty-four hours.

Hayden needs "that one moment" to pull his out of his darkness. That moment is Vi Harris. She comes storming into his life in Not The One leaving us all with chills knowing he needed his story to be told! This will clue you in to why people claim Hayden as myhayden! He is beautifully tragic. He is heartbreaking, emotional and dribbling in angst.

You will go through a roller coaster of feelings. You will want hug him, then slap him, shake him or even choke him, but then you will want to grab him and kiss him. Vi is a great counterpart to what Hayden needs in his life and her brothers add a great addition of sibling love. Anyone that has a sibling especially a brother will giggle at some of their antics and I do hope these Harris brothers pop up in future stories I just knew this one would not disappoint. I absolutely fell in love with this book.

I listened to the Audible first, thus, I was able to put a voice to Hayden and Vi. I read it awhile back now, but I was so deeply affected by it that it's taken me this long to review it.

To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up. I just knew this one would not disappoint. I felt so deeply for this poor, broken man and hoped so hard for him to find the light. When I first met Hayden in Leslie and Theo's story I was drawn to him, and later in Reyna and Liam's book I fell in love with him because I saw him as being just as broken as me, which made me connect to him in a way that so rarely happens between readers and characters. Learning his past only endeared me to him more. AmazonGlobal Ship Orders Internationally. Packed full of intense moments that leave your chest aching, this book is the perfect conclusion to an amazing love story.

I listened to the Audible again after reading it. I'm not even sure if I put down the correct start date. So many triggers for me, from both Hayden and Vi, but that's just fine. Sometimes I've got to feel the pain and work through it. This book completel I absolutely fell in love with this book. This book completely gave me that chance.

It probably sounds odd, but I feel like I know these characters. I empathized with both Hayden and Vi. Please don't get me wrong, there are lots of happy moments in this novel and loads humour as well. I genuinely couldn't recommend this book more. I hope you get to read and enjoy it as well. As I started reading Amy with the Harris Brothers series when Challenge was first released, I have continuously been hearing about Vi and Haydens book and how I need to go back and read the London Lovers series. If you have been following my posts, you will already know that over the last week or so, I have been on a London Lovers binge, finally getting around to reading all these books.

Vi and Hayden are probably one of my favourite couples in this series, because their book was so easy for me to devour. I think a lot of that stems from the fact that I already loved them from the Harris Brothers series. Whilst I know a lot of readers love Hayden so, and yes I did too, I think for me, Vi was my more anchoring and favourite character in this book.

I don't want to take away from Hayden or his serious and intense journey, because lets face it, thats what it is, and his struggles are real. And I don't look at that lightly, not at all. But for me, getting to know Vi more, and getting the boys in this story a fair bit as well, well, it honestly just feels like coming home to me.

And that probably stems from the fact that I started with the boys series rather than this one. Vi is fierce and strong and her brothers are damn adorable as we already know, but at the same time she has her own hang ups, which for me were quite easy to relate to. I loved everything about this story, getting to know Hayden and Vi both, and understand Hayden a lot more. This book certainly transformed my opinion of him, because I was not a fan after the last couple of books. I loved how he and Vi just work together, and the little details they share with each other.

And who can forget our glimpses of the rest of the LL cast? Especially Lezbo, Theo and Marisa. Oh, and the end of the book? Another great one from Amy. Amy Daws has done it again with an emotional, heart wrenching but also fantastically beautiful story about Hayden and Vi - whose story is told in Book 5 in the London Lovers series, That One Moment. I definitely recommend reading the first four well five including the prequel books in this series as they set up the storyline brilliantly.

In saying that, I do think that this book can be read as a standalone - there's still so much to be gained from it. Hayden is a gorgeous, blonde, sexy man who has had one hell of a tough few years. And Vi is the one feisty, fabulous woman who might be the distraction he doesn't think he needs at the exact right time.

Vi comes from a close family - she has four football playing brothers read all about them in Amy's fun, sexy series The Harris Brothers and a football manager father. She's been the mother hen to her four brothers for a long time now and is finally breaking away and getting some of her own space. Vi is willowy, blonde and beautiful. And the attraction between Hayden and Vi is absolutely palpable - you can almost feel it coming off the page. This story is so much more than a romance - it deals with some pretty major issues mental health wise and yet Amy Daws does so with respect, honesty and a whole lot of heart.

That One Moment is a story that won't leave you for a long time - and that's definitely a good thing. Be prepared to laugh out loud, to smile, and to cry - but it's all worth it. Really sweet Hayden has had a tough tale. He is fighting to get his life back on track and meets Vi who is the best medicine I live their banter and his story. She is fierce and strong a d very tender. That One Moment is no exception. I really love the emotions that are invoked while reading her books.

They make me laugh, cry, and fall in love with her characters. That One Moment is the second book in the Lost in London series which is a spin-off of the London Lovers series Amy has written prior to this. Hayden, one of the mains, story is really important in that one and it would really help to understand the whole situation. Anyways, That One Moment follows two characters who we got to meet in the past books who I was really excited to read their own story! He might be my favorite character just because we get to spend so much time focused on him through out the books but its really hard to pick just one favorite in this series: P i Vi also was a character I wanted to have her own story.

We met her awhile back and I am absolutely thrilled to have her front and center for this novel. This novel deals with a lot of deep materiel and handles it really well. That One Moment by Amy Daws

Wilson's Book, A Moment in Time. Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. I liked the story line, but there were so many grammatical and punctuation errors in this book, that it detracted from the story. I love that Cat stayed true to her and her every dream. Even if it meant giving up the man who infused her with the confidence needed to do it.

That is HUGE coming from me. Ask me the heroines name in some of my all time favorite books and I'll stumble to remember. I'm terrible when it comes to them. Not this time though. She owns this book in a way that makes me want to hug and kiss her and then shake her because well, because he's Muff and I love the hell out of him! This story has all the feels. You'll cry, you'll laugh, you'll swoon and you'll be angry.

It will be worth every one of those emotions. Beloved was one of my favorite books of and this one is even better if you can imagine that. I cannot wait to see where Corinne takes us next So I thought I was dead, because that's when I thought I'd see you again. While reading the story I literally got goosebumps all over. I could feel the love which was poured from Jackson for Catherine and vice versa. I'm in awe with this pair. They went through many ups and downs undoubtedly but were back together with more love and adoration.

I just loved the way the story "Catherine, you're my heaven. I just loved the way the story ended. I was all over Liam when I read his story but damn I must say one can actually feel the love which Jackson pours for Catherine. In love with the chemistry. The way they hold each other, the love between them and the way there hearts throbbed for each other got me swooning badly. Loved every word until the end. I've everthing I need right here. I really enjoyed the first book but this book was like a damn tug of war. There was too much bickering back and forth. The annoying heroine was the icing to this overdramatised story line.

Their relationship gave me a damn case of whiplash. They constantly declared their love for each other and that they will never ever leave each other. Then a misunderstanding happened that led to a series of drama and more drama, unnecessary drama. Clearly, they did not get the memo that a relationship involve I really enjoyed the first book but this book was like a damn tug of war. Clearly, they did not get the memo that a relationship involves communication. Nope, the heroine did not allow him to explain. That's being generous since I adored the secondary characters and it had a sweet epilogue.

Loooved this, especially the ending. This seriously gave me all the feels and Catherine and Jackson are a truly amazing couple. The audiobook is fantastic as well. The only reason I'm not giving this a 2 star rating is bc of the Hero and secondary characters. I had issues with the heroine from book one but I loved Jackson and the other characters also the cliffhanger left me wanting more. Catherine never changes, she is the biggest drama queen one can imagine. Everything is ab her, although she pushed Jackson away for a stupid reason some how when he does the same thing, th There is nothing sadder than finishing a book and regretting you ever picked it up.

Everything is ab her, although she pushed Jackson away for a stupid reason some how when he does the same thing, that was way worse, almost unforgivable, so bad that she has to put up conditions in order to forgive him even though the guy is in a hospital bed. The secondary characters are great bc they tell her what the reader is thinking, that she is a selfish Oh sure she admits in her head that she is to blame as well for their problems but never to Jackson or anyone else, she always guilt trips him. The whole series he apologizes even for situations that aren't his fault. She says he is the love of her life but she always puts her job first she even admits that her biggest fear ab their relationship is what's gonna happen to her job if they break up.

Shouldn't she worry more ab loosing the so called love of her life??? I think this duet frustrated me so much bc it could have been such a wonderful read. When they are together they are great, funny and the writing in general is good and flows easily but my God the drama was forced and ridiculous. She breaks up with him, like he was nothing, like they had nothing just bc she finds out he used to be married. Sure you are upset, you yell, you scream whatever but after all they've been through we are suppose to be sympathetic to her when she doesn t even let him explain??

He didn t lie bc he was a jerk he didn't tell her bc talking ab the wife and baby you lost is not easy. Her reaction was so ridiculous that I just gave up on this couple, she doesn t deserve him. When he forces her to listen to him she still chooses her job. Jackson was amazing till the end, the epilogue was cute but by that point I didn t care. She never chose Jackson first, she was always ab what was right for her and how things affected her. She played the victim all the time.

For the author I'm glad many people seem to have a different opinion than mine. I don t understand how can a weak and whiny heroine or forced drama can be enjoyable but to each it's own. Breathtaking Endearing Heart-twisting Overwhelming Loyal Devoted Erotic Naughty It is extremely hard to put into words all the emotions one feels when you read a story such as this one.

You don't want to spoil it for anyone but you desperately want to convey how madly you have fallen for the characters, the kick-ass writing and how much it makes an imprint on your soul forever. So with that said, this is what I will tell you: Corinne has done such an exquisite job with their epic conclusion that you feel as though you are suffering right a long with them. I literally felt like someone was sitting on my chest from the prologue on. This story consumed me The twists will pull the rug out from you, make you blubber like a baby and quite possibly make you scream in frustration which I did several times.

To pull that kind of emotion from your readers, it is quite a gift. But god is it worth it!!!!! You will not be disappointed with diving in and having your heart captured by this beautiful, passionate couple! Jackson Cole stole my heart with Beholden. I loved him in Beloved, but finding out details about his past made me fall head over heels in flove with him. I was so scared to read Beholden because of the way Beloved left off. Then Corinne kept sharing teasers that would make me flinch with worry. The anticipation was killer!!!

Corinne's writing is fantastic. She manages to grab you from page one and not let up until you have the book finished. She makes each and ever 5 beholden stars! She makes each and every character seem real. I seriously would love to fall into Jackson Cole's lap ; Beholden was full of angst and was so emotional for me. Beloved was jam packed full of angst too, so I know what to expect from her in the future. Another auto 1-click author! If you are looking for a H that will blow your socks off, Jackson Cole is that man.

If you want a heroine that knows what she wants and goes for it, Beholden is the book for you. Just make sure to read Beloved first. I am very impressed with this author's work. When I read Beloved I was amazed at how written it was. Give this debut author a chance and go fall in love with her writing like I did!! Oct 08, K. Packed full of intense moments that leave your chest aching, this book is the perfect conclusion to an amazing love story.

There was also an abundance of laughter, and even a few tears along the way. The balance between book one and two is very well executed, leaving the reader fully satisfied. You'll surely regret it if you do. Can't wait to see what next from this talented author! This was the continuation of Jackson and Catherine's story and it started right where Beloved left off. I was glad they didn't prolong getting back together. There really wasn't any reason to do so.

They both knew how they felt for each other, and whatever misguided reasons they had for putting the breaks on their relationship, they were also aware it was never because they had doubts about their feelings. But this couple didn't get a reprieve from challenges though.

Catherine's ex was still crea This was the continuation of Jackson and Catherine's story and it started right where Beloved left off. Catherine's ex was still creating problems for her. Jackson was still dealing with his loss while recovering from his injuries. One thing I really enjoyed was the development of Catherine's character.

She was stronger and learned how to stand up to those trying to put her down. Jackson remained to be a heady combination of caveman and sweetness. I loved how he was protective but not demanding to be obeyed. He gave Catherine room to be her own person, in fact, he was instrumental for her strength. The biggest hurdle in their relationship was the secret Jackson was keeping. Seriously, it was like a vintage question that has never been resolved - why do people think lying, even by omission, won't come back and bite them in the ass?

When will people realize that more often than not, it only makes things worse.

And Jackson was guilty of that. But he was hard to stay mad at! The love notes he wrote for Catherine were to die for.. There was no question he was totally devoted and in love with her, and he had no problems showing it and just like what Catherine's assistant said, kinda perfect. But ultimately, it was a choice between your dream and the love of your life. How do you choose one without missing the other?

He was really "kinda perfect. You need to be prepared and put on your big girl panties and get ready for the continuation of their story!

She's extremely gifted in many areas, including but not limited to, making you smile, making you frown, making you ugly cry, turning your world upside down and imploding in on itself, making you smile again, making you cry tears of happiness, making your heart soar and making you smile.. If you haven't read Beloved book 1 , I highly recommend you stop what you're doing and do so now so that when Beholden is released you can 1 click it and start immediately.. Picking up immediately after the nasty cliffy of Beloved , I was right into the story and really enjoyed the emotion and excitement as it all played out.

But there are still secrets between t 2. But there are still secrets between them and when all is revealed, everything goes to hell once again, and OMG, Catherine drove me bat-shit crazy! Despite declaring absolute and undying love to Jackson over and over again, she was all too fast to run when things got messy. She turns her back on him, refusing to talk to him and then her pathetic-ness reaches epic proportions with her overly-emotional whining.

If she loves him and wants him so much, she needs to work at it — talk to him! Cry me a freaking river! But the relationship drama really brought this book down for me when it was all completely unavoidable! And Jackson is definitely a highlight. View all 3 comments.
