Examples of Solar Panels mounted on Forward Deck

Sometimes the simplest and cheapest mounting solution is to install panels on a flat surface. This works when a canopy top is far enough aft of the panels to not shade them. We also mount panels to the front of the flybridge as well in certain situations.

The batteries are conveniently mounted in the bow and with AGM batteries you do not have to worry about battery water or venting gases.
