This book is for those people who are serious about real internal psychological change and spiritual realization. Personally, I have read the book many times and it always motivates my meditation practice and other disciplines. It is very good spiritual food and produces in me the longing to study and practice much much more.

    It is necessary to study this book and responsibly reflect on it deeply in order to register its true value. It was written by a man who is a master of meditation as well as a lot more esoteric spiritual practices and one who has walked the spiritual path, so, it comes from that life of experience that very few can share. This book is part of the secret doctrine that was given to humanity as a gift to help those who long to live the path to liberation from suffering. There are many problems in our personal lives and in the world due to the problems we have not solved that eixst within our internal psychology.

    This books helps locate the roots of our problems and teaches how to address them responsibly and transform them into virtuous, practical knowledge. There is practical religious and spiritual knowledge in this book from esoteric Christianity and Buddhism and more. I consider it to be very helpful when trying to understand the mind and what it would be like to be free from the causes of suffering. One person found this helpful.     This book is one of Samael Aun Weor's books that has had a big impact on my spiritual path. Here Samael Aun Weor gives us a firm shake up, a very aggressive wake up call to awaken us from our deep sleep. In a very sincere and direct manner he lets us see how we are mistaken about our concepts of things. This book deals mostly with the state of our world but moreover, with the state in which we find ourselves in. From meditating on this work, it is very clear to me that the concepts that we have about everything from ourselves, our world, our lives, our fellowmen, etc is really the result of a sleeping conciousness.

    A sleeping conciousness cannot see things as they truly are but only dreams. What we experience on the outside tells us alot about what's going on inside of us, that is, inside our psyche. This knowledge can motivate us to change ourselves and therefore change our world which in turn will elevate us to higher levels of conciousness.

    Samael Aun Weor has done a magnificent job in speaking to the conciousness as he does here and in all his works because sometimes we need a firm wake up call and we need to be spoken strongly and directly to finally comprehend. This book is a good choice to begin the studies given by Samael Aun Weor specially as it concerns the awakening of the conciousness. Perfect Paperback Verified Purchase.

    This is a very nice publication of this book. The paper, cover, binding, illustrations, are all very nicely done. This book is one of Samael's "easier" books, it was the first I could really understand and immediately start to put into practice. At the same time it is very deep, covering a wide range of topics, and I seem to get more out of it every time I pick it up to read a passage. Definitely one of my favorites. This is not my favorite book by Samael Aun Weor, but it is still a classic.
