With Wynn and Ezra together and Smokey getting the boot, you would think things had settled down on that spread of land. But noooooooo, the ranch foreman Jax is at it - this time. When Logan Miller turned up at the ranch on his motor bike, Jax was not prepared for the Ms. When Logan Miller turned up at the ranch on his motor bike, Jax was not prepared for the body that climbs off that bike.
The attraction between the two is instantaneous from the first hug. For reasons that Jax is unwilling to disclose, he ignores the attraction.
When Logan tires of the cold shoulder and mood swings he lets Jax know that he wants him. Jax has to decide if he can accept the love of a man who has refined his life in order to be with him? With every book Ms. Lynne throws at us, we get sucked into her world further and further. Jax and Logan are both likeable characters that have simple taste, had their ups and downs and is at a place in their lives where they are trying to move on and make the best of what life presents them with. Jax is recovering from heartbreak and shame. While Logan refuses to accept that he cannot have what he has built his whole life towards.
When Jax finally give in and takes that tentative first step — his insecurity kicks in. Logan soon finds out that loving Jax close up is much harder work than loving him from afar. With the usual mention of the other residents of the Valley and a little self plug by Ms Lynne, Bad Boy Cowboy is a worthy addition to the Cattle Valley series filled with high levels of sexual and emotional tension. Logan ist der neue Ranchhelfer und es ist offensichtlich, dass er mit Jax nach allen Regeln der Kunst flirtet. Ich bin mit diesem 7.
I liked the MC's, but I never got emotionally involved. The story was well paced.
It's a okay story, when ya need quit shot of some cowboy lovin'. It just didn't grab me. I did like Logan and the bull riding. I didn't know if I wanted to tell him to keep his fool ass off the bull, or to root hi on. Aug 02, Shelby P rated it really liked it Shelves: I like that Jax and Logan's relationship wasn't all easy, breezy, beautiful, coverboy.
I like that they had to fight for each other. Now if both of them had been honest initially then we'd have had smoother sailing and probably not as interesting a story. I really like how the author plugged her other series by having Logan read the Campus Cravings book. I wasn't too impressed with book one but I'll definitely read the rest and see what's so special about Bear's story ;-.
Nov 19, Alina rated it it was amazing. Nice and easy read. I liked both characters but Jax's my favorite and I'd like him having a little more action , but some of the obstacles felt kinda I mean they'd been worrying over pretty stupid little things, but whatever - the ending was sweet and that's all I care about: Jul 03, K-lee Klein rated it really liked it. Love Jax and Logan. I never warmed up to Jax but did like Logan and the story was good. Aug 27, Penumbra rated it it was ok Recommends it for: Bad Boy Cowboy is the seventh book in the Cattle Valley series.

When Logan Miller pulls up to the EZ Does-It ranch atop a gleaming black Harley, bearing tattoos and kil.
Logan has been in love with Jax ever since he was a kid. Logan pretty much made his life choices based on what he believed Jax would want. He molded himself for Jax. In fact, Jax and Logan are dull.
Nothing makes them unique, and it shows. Also, for tough cowboys, they were free with their feelings and introspection. I always got the feeling while reading these books that they were churned out in a rush or in order to make money, and this book in particular feels that way. Zu dumm nur, dass dieser scheinbar nicht interessiert ist. Sep 27, Erica rated it it was ok. It's been a few years since I read a Carol Lynne book because I felt like they'd all gotten samey-samey.
I thought it had been long enough that it would be like new again but. I don't think the cowboy was much of a bad boy, and their reasons for failing to communicate seemed a little thin. Mostly it was fine, but I don't think it'll stick with me. Jul 31, Lyndac rated it liked it Shelves: Good addition to the series. May 12, Elisa Rolle added it.
As I just said in the past, the Cattle Valley gay soap opera is a mix of full angst, medium angst and totally funny books. In the fictional gay town of Cattle Valley, every possible type of romance is represented, and this time is the bad boy - good boy play that is on. Logan is a tattooed, biker and handsome cowboy. He actually is more fond of bikes than horses, but he has also a crush on Jax, his best friend's older brother, and since the man is a born cowboy, Logan chose the same path to be near him. But during the time he spent to grow up and close the 8 years age difference, Jax had a very bad love experience and now he is cautious when he deals with love. And loving a bad boy cowboy is probably not a good choice if he wants a steady relationship. The book is all spent reading on how both men try to behave in the best possible way to please the other, only ending to make the worst possible errors.
There isn't much drama, and also the problems are not so huge to not be easily overcome. The mainly is Logan's trouble with school and his struggle to obtain a GED. This one could be considered a passage book, a relaxing story between some more exciting and fundamental events happening in Cattle Valley.
Jan 19, Melissa rated it it was amazing Shelves: Jax Brolin has known Logan Miller pretty much since the day he was born He's his litte brother's best friend and when he was in need of a job on a gay friendly ranch, Jax didn't hesitate to give it to him, but he knows he needs to be careful or the temptation that is Logan will get the better of him. His heart was put through the ringer by a several year long affair with someone he shouldn't have given his heart to and he puts himself through hell as punishment and decides that love is for the Jax Brolin has known Logan Miller pretty much since the day he was born His heart was put through the ringer by a several year long affair with someone he shouldn't have given his heart to and he puts himself through hell as punishment and decides that love is for the birds but when Logan sets his mind to something, he usually gets it.
And his mind has been on Jax since he was 12 years old, he doesn't even like ranch work but it's what he does so that he can be close to the man he wants to be with. The relationship between these two gets off to an incredibly rocky start and there is a lot of fighting to be done before things start to go smoothly. Logan is stubborn and when he gives his word about something, he'll do it whether it means he could get killed or not and that is final.
We got the full story of these boys and it was one of the best books so far! Who doesn't love a bad boy cowboy: May 12, Jenny Wood rated it it was amazing. I loved Logan, I really felt for him, he came from a bad home situation after his parents died and he found solace in Jax and "Jakey's" home.
Sent to work at the EZ Does It, Logan's love for Jax still runs deep, but he'd never told him about it, and Jax has some issues to work out on his own. We don't ever see or hear anything else about Jakey, other than Jax saying that he can't start anything with Logan because he's Jakey's best friend. He got over that part pretty quick though. Logan done eve I loved Logan, I really felt for him, he came from a bad home situation after his parents died and he found solace in Jax and "Jakey's" home. Logan done everything he could to get Jax to notice him or to take him serious and it hurt to see him try so hard only to get rejected.

However, once Jax let his guards down and let Logan in, it wasn't smooth sailing, but One thing that really bothered me in this one was the secret Jax was keeping from Hearn, I really hope that gets worked out, Hearn needs to know. I really loved how much Jax believed in Logan and wanted to help him as much as he could to reach his dream. That's what true love is all about, I loved it! May 11, Arlyn rated it really liked it Shelves: I liked them, but didn't love them. It was a quick read and was never boring. Jax is the supervisor of a staff of ranch hands on a working ranch owned by Ezra, an MC from an earlier book in the series.
Logan is the man who fell in love with Jax when he was a teenager and nobody since Well, I've been reading the Cattle Valley Series in Order and Book 7 was pretty standard for the series. Logan is the man who fell in love with Jax when he was a teenager and nobody since has ever lived up to his first love.
Jax was unaware of this long-standing love of Logan's, but when the younger man came to work at the ranch, the attraction was instant. Lists with This Book. Mar 26, Danae rated it liked it. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Lots of stuff going on in here. I liked how hard Logan works with his reading, keeping it a secret. My biggest problem with this story is actually not with the story but with me. For some reason, my mind kept wanting the names to be switched. For me, Logan's name should have been Jax, and vice-versa. I can't think of another instance where I've had this happen when reading. Sometimes a name doesn't seem to quite fit, but not like this I've decided to include this on all "reviews" just so people know.
Maybe I should put it at the top?
