Jakes truly inspire me! When someone told me about this one and its title, something sparked in me that gave me an inkling I really needed to read this book.

Jakes is an exceptional writer, one of the true word artist of our era. In this book, he paints with precision, detail, and simplicity a map to get out of our own way to receive the rich blessings of the Omnipotent. It allows any reader to grasp what may be for some, a formidable obstruction, and makes it into a more navigable one.

With Jakes being the pastor of one of the largest churches in the country, readers should expect the book to have a religious tone. Not much of a fan myself of today's church, I still found this book to be refreshingly rewarding. Modern day writers like Jakes continually serve as examples for me, as to the type of writer that I wish to one day be, some day in the very near and close future. If there is anyone, who like me, enjoy reading words of wisdom that not only feed your soul, but gives you something that the experiences shared by others could possibly offer.

Its more geared for those who are facing tumultuous trouble such as struggling to pay bills or a mid life crisis. It still has good points about making the most out of your life.
