Elizabeth Groppe is clear and I found the text readable and accessible.
It is a book for scholars as opposed to those who are looking for meditational material.
It makes Congar's remarkable insights available to 21st century readers. Groppe has done a terrific job writing on a subject about spirituality and relating it to church history which too many traditionalist have failed to acknowledge.
