Sara, even though she is a shifter, seems rather normal in comparison.
Two mysteries are being tackled. The full moon is when this creature will be the strongest and most destructive, so the race is on to figure out the who, what and where. And this guy is interested in Sara. What really grabs me about this series, besides the mystery, are the characters. We not only get the regulars, but the victims as well. Reread this after a suggestion by the author who nicely offered this for free on Kindle in May since her new release, Nightfall, is tied to something that takes place in this book. This is the first book I've read in a while that actually scared me a bit. I loved the story, I love shifter stories and such, but this one with the murders in strange ways and the history of the murders getting worse on a friday the 13th wi Well, I know I wrote a review for this book the day after I finished it. It gets into the head of the "bad guy", the bloodlust and desire to kill.
I had a couple nightmares while reading this book, so glad the monster was stopped so I could sleep soundly. It really wasn't fear, just kind of a creepy feeling that lasted. Anyway, I still need to read the previous stories to get a bit more of an understanding of the character's background, but this story is full enough that it can be a stand alone book, leaving the reader wanting more.
This is a great read for anyone into shifters and liking stories a bit violent and creepy. The characters are very well developed, even without the background from previous books. Book 2 in the series. Good read with excellent characters Full Moon-Bloody Moon is a well written book with some very interesting characters. I loved the way the author made all of his characters in this book seem so human, with flaws in their personalities, just as a human would have. The storyline is good but I think he needs to show a physical demarcation between scenes.
I found myself lost for a few moments when the author did this. Also I think that there were too many characters. They were hard to visualize at Good read with excellent characters They were hard to visualize at times. I recommend this book to any avid readers of vampires and shape-shifters.

Other reviewers have summarized this book, so I won't repeat it. This book was an interesting change from my normal picks. It combines mystery, action, bloody horror, a possible romance, and the paranormal event of shape-shifting. Roberta Hancock on June 12, I read all five books in the series and enjoyed each one of the them. The shapeshifter premise is interesting and well developed but it is the character development of the supporting characters that is really quite good and adds a lot to the stories.
I plan to re-read the series in the future as well as hold out hope for another case. The only problem I found was the occasional typo or failure in editing which disturbs the flow of the story.
