The Way I See it: Rants, Revelations and Rules for Life

Slight repetitions from previous books but not too bad. A good book to dip into not to read in one go.

The way I see it : rants, revelations and rules for life

This is the most negative book I've ever read. We all know the problems he described there are no secrets just negativism. This book is page after page of the jumped up prose of a whinging, whining Pom, endlessly pontificating about what annoys him. The negativity just never ends, as Alan Sugar sinks ever deeper into a morass of self serving journalistic masturbation.

Yes, he can sell things, and yes he can spot the gap, but having read this book, I have no doubt that after 5 minutes in his company my coffee would go over his head and my boot would be firmly lodged in his egotistical genitalia. This is a very disappointing read that does not even come close to delivering what it says on the tin. The Way I See It. Alan Sugar, the epitome of the self-made man, is never lost for words or targets. But love him or loathe him one has to admit that he talks a lot of sense.

Editorial Reviews

Lord Sugar, egotist and proud of it, climbed the ladder the hard way and has little time for British workers, whom he sees as largely unmotivated and dishonest scroungers, encouraged by weak Labour government policies. He admires successful entrepreneurs like Murdoch and the Beckhams and he laments the decline of industry in the West.

In spite of his aggressively progressive stance at heart Sugar is a sentimentalist. He is frequently caught looking back to the good old days when you paid your way in pounds, shillings and pence, or you went without.

Bestselling Series

Having failed to make Tottenham Hotspur a top club, he imagines life as a manager doing some straight talking to the players: Lord Alan Sugar is an opinionated, black and white, common sense based, and sometimes egotistical author. But, and yes, there's always a but, he's on the money. No smoke and mirrors, simple concepts that make a lot of sense. The man should be the UK PM, government would get the shake up of all shake ups and actually deliver to the electorates that put the government in power.
