Lists with This Book. The characters in his books read books by E. Lionel began to cry. Bland could never mind his own beeswax. The last story, "Kind Little Edmund, or The Caves and the Cockatrice," depicts the dangers and benefits of having an inquiring mind. Fans of epic fantasy will love this new series.
This book I was very pleased with. The one I received was actually a library book from somewhere else. That didn't bother me at all. This book is detailed and the illustrations are good. It provides a little something extra. Tells you old tales from history and gives you an idea of what people thought back then. And gives you an idea of how much dragons have "evolved" from time. I love this book. It came a little later than I expected but it was worth the wait.

One person found this helpful. I bought this for my 9 year old daughter who is obsessed with dragon art and folklore. She is a pretty advanced reader, so it may not be for every 9 year old, but we were both very happy with the book.
One person found this helpful 2 people found this helpful. Book was in great condition and is also a good book. He leaves out a lot of dragons though and does not go into much detail. Its more of a beginner book on dragons, than a complete one.
The Book of Dragons by E. Nesbit
I enjoy the book itself, however I wasn't expecting it to be a previous library copy with the plastic covering and stickers in it. That was a little off-putting to me but the book wasn't in horrible condition. Very imaginative book with descriptions and illustrations of numerous dragon species, including anatomical drawings.
Drake's Comprehensive Compendium is an excellent companion book.
