Will she work with you on your next book as well? The beauty of Glenapp Castle Hotel so inspired me, it seemed the perfect opportunity for us to work together. She came to Scotland with me for the first ten days of my research month to take photos for the illustrations.

Last April, we buried ourselves in our unheated cabin in Maine while I babysat and she drew the pen and ink illustrations day and night. Working together has been fantastic and we would both welcome the opportunity. Frankly, I think she should write and illustrate her own books, but right now her photography business keeps her pretty busy.
