They had their issues in the past, including many misunderstandings, however they were able to talk about their problems from the very beginning and forgive one another. This allows the reader to see their story unfold and it is quite beautiful.
Most of the drama, occurs with the help of Cash's other baby mama, Jules. What the hell was wrong with her anyways? I knew the bitch was crazy from Until Trevor, but I did not know the bitch was that crazy. She needs a padded cell and some medication, because she is not right in the head. She was a major participant in causing a lot of drama for both Cash and Lilly. I have only one thing to say to you Jules But what I loved about this story is that no matter how difficult their lives became because of Jules, Cash and Lilly remained true to one another and their relationship never wavered.
I was truly sad to see their story end because I loved it that much! The epilogue was also a fabulous addition to their story! Seriously though, I love this author! Aurora, you are freaking awesome!! You know how to write a great male character!

My admiration turns a hundred fold for both of you. Not every day I come across unusual complication such as this. Moreover, this book portrays how parents should be in order to give importance to what matters most — family. Now, off to book 4. View all 20 comments. This one felt more realistic, had more feeling and was a more well-rounded story. Years ago, Lilly and Cash's lives intersected. Lilly was left with a big ol' slice of "Life's Not Fair" pie. She picked herself up and did the best she could with the cards she was abruptly dealt.
By accident, their paths cross again Can true love be given a second chance? Can they have the life that was taken away from them by Cash's vindictive, baby mama Jules? Can I just say that Jules was quite the piece of crazy work! That woman was full of so much ugly, bitter jealousy. She didn't care who she hurt, who she stepped on or who was around to hear her selfish and vile words.
I tried to sympathize with Cash on why he kept trying with her I'm pretty sure if I could have reached into my Kindle, I would have ripped that bitch apart! I think my favorite thing about this book is that the situation that ripped Cash and Lilly apart years ago wasn't a lingering factor. ARR could have decided to draw this drama out for pages on end, making Cash grovel for forgiveness or have Lilly not believe Cash about his knowledge of what happened with her Outside factors were constantly throwing wrenches in their lives, but not once did you doubt the love.
I'm saying that as a man who knows. Two people who were given a second chance to have the life they should have started years ago. But don't you worry I'd take a Cash Mayson punishment any time. And there you have it. View all 37 comments. Apr 25, Catarina rated it it was amazing Shelves: Four years ago Cash made the hardest decision of his life: He unwisely hooked up with an evil bitch and she forced him to be with her in order to keep the pregancy. Now, divorced from his crazy ex-wife and with full custody of Jax, he coincidently runs into Lily again, only to find out that when he left Lilly, he also left a daughter behind. This time Cash is not willing to let the love of his life go away Or his kids for that matter.
He wants he's family and he's decided to do everything in his power to keep it. But when their pasts and the secrets and lies that kept them apart are brought back, how will Cash win this fight? A beautiful and emotional love story about redemption and second chances. One of the most heartwarming stories I've read lately. First person, dual POV. Addictive and absolutely engaging. Probably my favorite Mayson brother so far.
He goes after what he wants, isn't afraid to fight or apologize and like the others is the perfect alpha male. Lilly was also amazing, I loved how forgiving she was and the golden heart she has. She was amazing with both kids and Cash. Jax and Ashlyn were the cutest little things.
And did I tell you about the great epilogues that this woman writes? Dec 17, Lisa rated it really liked it Shelves: This book was worth the wait! Oh how I love these Mayson brothers! I'm so fickle with my love for them. First I loved Asher. Then Trevor came along and it was instant lust which means I had to let Asher go. Swoonworthy Cash with his all consuming sexy talk had me saying "Trevor who?
Cash knew instantly that Lilly was his true love but circumstances beyond his control arose and he had to make a tough decision. He broke Lilly's heart and stopped all contact. Fou 4 Cash Lovin' Stars! Four years later many things have changed when their paths cross. This time Cash was determined to not let her get away. Cash and Lilly's story had a really romantic feel to it. I loved that a lot of story was devoted to just Cash and Lilly recapturing their love for each other and making up for lost time.
Their chemistry was amazing! Jax and Ashlyn completely melted my heart. It was such treat to have two adorable children play a big part in this story. They helped create a beautiful family unit. Of course there is a crazy ex-wife trying her best to create all sorts of drama and chaos. I admit I wished Lilly would have had the opportunity to give Jules a good beat down a few times.
It's always a delight to have the rest of the Mayson family involved in the storyline. They are such a fun group who love each other and have each other's back. My only small nitpicking issue was the grammatical errors in places. Aurora Reynolds you are such a tease! Giving a sneak peak into Nico's story makes me think this delicious badboy is going to melt my heart. View all 21 comments.
I kind of wish I had read the first book after reading book 2 and 3.
Asher's 1st Book book was perfection. Books 2 and this book started off on the wrong foot for me. I know why Cash dumped Lilly in the beginning but it just sat wrong with me. I'm a single mom and I know what it's like to have no help raising a child, so it not something that I can easily dismiss. Especially for the reason she got left on her own.
If I take that out of the equation, I did like these two when they finally get b I kind of wish I had read the first book after reading book 2 and 3. If I take that out of the equation, I did like these two when they finally get back together. I just felt like she got screwed. I need another Asher book and I hope Nico's will provide that. Sep 27, Beverly rated it it was amazing. So I was told to read this book a long time ago, because I am a sucker for single dads. Lilly and Cash are by far my favorite in the series. I loved Ashlyn and Jax, just as much! If you want an EPIC love story about unconditional love and forgiveness, this is it!! View all 3 comments.
Either a whole bunch of my GR friends are crazy, or I'm the most hard-to-please bitch in existence and I should just give up reading contemporary romances. Something is definitely up, and it ain't me, beyotches! Now I'm assuming you should read Lily in series order, which would make this book 3. I didn't, not sure if that makes any difference, so I'm just going to tell it as I see it for this story view spoiler [The story opens with Cash meeting Lilly, wooing her and taking her virginity.
Then f Either a whole bunch of my GR friends are crazy, or I'm the most hard-to-please bitch in existence and I should just give up reading contemporary romances. Then finding out another woman he used to sleep with is pregnant, he swiftly the next day proceeds to dump Lily over the phone like a premier league arsehole. With me so far? Is there, any way that a self-respecting woman would not want to string this man up by his balls for such behaviour?
What about if you then find yourself pregnant? You'd be pissed right? Sure, you'd cry and mourn and gnash your teeth and rend your garments at the vagaries of fate but, you'd get your hands on a double barrel shot gun too, right? You'd still be reasonable? Think, "We're over but the right thing is to tell this dirtbag who fucked me, impregnated me and dumped me that he's going to be a father. Move over Mother Teresa, there's a new girl in town. So, what would it take? To get really, really steaming, murderously, mad?
How about a text response to your request to talk that you 'take care' of the problem as he's already having a baby with his 'soon-to-be wife'. Please can I shoot the motherfucker now?! Well, no, because Lily didn't follow the 53rd golden rule of dating; never sleep with a man if you don't know where he lives. So, no buckshot in this buck's buttocks, Lily. Three years later Lily, having scuttled off back to Alaska to lick her wounds and birth her baby, is back in the exact the same town as Cash, because after all, she had such a great experience the last time she was in that state; yep clear from Alaska to Tennessee for a new job, because there was nowhere else in the whole landmass that is the USA, between these two geographical points, that Lily could have possibly have gotten gainful employed.
And boyo having now dumps the gal he married and having gotten sole custody of his son, takes one look at Lily and says I don't know anything about that as this is my first encounter with this family, but, it's all bullshit, or, at least it's bullshit in this author's hands, because all this story did was pissed me the hell off. Because regardless of what was going on in Cash's mind, Lily's reaction to this whole debacle was so out and out implausible it renders everything, every thing else a total waste of time, a mote point.
There was no drama leading up to a reunion; Cash slid back in smooth as Slick Rick, Lilly barely raises her voice, she was too busy wondering how soon she could hump his leg that she tucked her supposed heartbreak, her anger and her pride into the front of Cash's pants with a 'Oh well, I guess it was just a misunderstanding and now we are back together. For Christ sake woman, even if not for yourself, whallop him one for the 3 years your daughter went without a father!
And I wish that I could state that that was were the crazy-train terminated. But nope, because this type of author is never happy unless they lay on crazy with a shovel. We also have to contend with the crazy ex, though I have yet to comprehend the reason for her derangement maybe it was explained in the first 2 books? Lilly loses her job based on some wackjob acting by ex and doesn't have a chance to explain to her boss? Then Lilly apparently goes to jail for a week over some weird plot regarding fraud? There were all sorts of plot strings that were never fully picked-up, i.
Why was he introduced? Was there a point? Why was Cash's family cold to Lily if he'd initially explained before the fucking and the leaving she was his One, didn't they all know of the Mayson Magical Dick Radar? How could it be wrong? But the wowza of all crazy is the ending. Lets just for a second go with the premise that this small-town, southern crazy ex was so unhinged that she would mastermind the kidnapping of a child, lets further pretend that she was also under surveillance no indication of that in the story but, what-the-hell Run across fields, find a house, get a call put through?
I really didn't like it, but even if everything else was passable, Lily's lack of backbone would have had me giving this 1star regardless. This could have been a great set up of a jilted woman being left to raise a kid alone, but only a few pages gets spent on this and spent really badly. Instead we see them reconcile without a single raised word. Not so fun for the me, the reader. View all 7 comments.
Review I loved it!! I loved the premise of the story and the journey Ms. Reynolds took me on. I am bass ackwards and started from the end…. Reynolds had the ability to transport me into the story and follow along with Lilly and Cash…. I held my breath when Cash and Lilly set eyes on each other at the play gym for the kids…. Why only 4 stars instead of 5? It broke my heart that Jax had to go through that pain of having a womb donor who only used him to manipulate Cash.
I also had a problem with the reason why Jules did something at the end of the story…. In no way shape or form did I subtract stars for the writing ability of Ms.

I empathized with Lilly — I fell in love with Lilly and the strong heroine she portrayed in this story. She was truly my hero! Re-Cap Cash and Lilly have a brief encounter and relationship but they fall hard and fall fast. But does every rainbow have a pot of gold at the end? Cash thinks that Lilly kept his daughter a secret while Lilly has nothing but hatred toward Cash for abandoning her while pregnant. Once Cash and Lilly find out the truth…. I have to go back and read her other books now!! For more reviews, Free E-books and Giveaways Nov 11, Michelle rated it it was amazing Shelves: In one moment Cash knew he had met the one, in three short months he knew he would love her until he took his last breath.
When the Lilly meets Cash, the last thing she 5 second chance stars! When the Lilly meets Cash, the last thing she wants to be is another woman that he simply beds and moves on from. Falling in love with him was one of the easiest things she had ever done, falling out of love with him would soon prove to be impossible. When the she-bitch makes him chose between his child and Lilly, he makes the only choice he can. A little girl that is standing at her side, a little girl he never knew he had, Ashlyn. I have absolutely loved every single one of the Mayson boys, each one gives you just something so different but they each share similar traits.
I loved that Cash knew he could push but that he had to not be too forceful, there was pain that lingered between them and Cash was patient when needed. The way Cash was with his kids was so touching, so many moments where his heart just swelled from what he finally had, what he nearly lost Lilly was such a perfect heroine! But she was not, she loved him and even though she wanted to protect her heart, she never tried to keep him out. Aurora Rose Reynolds has created this stunning cast of hot, over the top alpha males that are completely lovable.
I loved that the epilogue gives us a glimpse into their lives not just a few months down the road but years later. Getting to see this interaction with them roughly twelve years into the future was so enjoyable. Man-whores that just need to find the one that makes them want to settle down. View all 19 comments. Totally my favorite of this series! Cash and Lilly are damn new perfection! He is amazeballs and she rocks. A pure hot alpha male and a strong woman who enjoys every minute of what he can give!
Cash was always the bag em' and leave em quick guy A chance meeting in Alabama literally had him stumbling into a fiery red headed college gal. Full throttle Mayson male makes a happy coupling until a bit of crazy from the past catches up to Cash. S 5 Huge Until Stars! Suddenly its the end They had found each other's ONE Life has been hard to go of for both, broken hearted and lied to, manipulated by pure evil bitchery! That love never left Cash will not lose his life again.
He is head over heels in love with Ms Lilly and what she gives him everyday is bigger than anything he could ever imagine. Their story is beautiful I will say that Cash Mayson has melted my kindle I have become an Aurora Rose Reynolds addict! I devoured 3 books in 2 days, and I am holding my breath for Nico's tale, but honestly I do not now if Cash Mayson can be topped! So we found out in the last book that Cash got a crazy psycho pregnant, before he even met Lilly, but found out about the pregnancy when he was already dating Lilly.
I loved watching Cash and Lilly rekindle Can't wait for Nico's story. Hope it comes out early just like "until lilly" did: I mean if cash found out, then he would have to make a choice. I mean you have to admit it's a VERY hard decision. Would he rather go with 1 the pregnant woman he loves or 2 a psycho woman who threatens to abort his son That is just a bowl of craziness right there. So yeah, I guess I'm glad that 4 years have passed and that he didn't have to make that decision. Sure Lily was hurt, but it wouldn't be as bad if Cash did see the text. View all 10 comments. This one was funny, sweet, and heart warming.
It was just what I needed. And this one was just fabulous. Cash and Lilly were forced apart years ago, after Cash had to make the decision between her and his unborn baby. They were both left broken and with so much hurt. She couldn't believe the words Cash had texted her. Now, years later, they see each other again. That connection is still there but there is also so much pain and distrust. But, Cash is not letting her slip away again. I really loved Cash. He was a real alpha, protective, possessive and sexy, as his brothers. But, he was also more sweet and loving then they were, which bothered me none.
I absolutely loved how he treated Lilly. He was an amazing father to his adorable son Jax. He has sole custody of him, and has divorced his crazy ex. When he sees Lilly, after many years apart, he can't believe what he is sees. He sees a little girl next to her, the splitting image of himself. That's when they realize that everything they thought about each other was a lie. Lilly was left completely heart broken after Cash ended things between them.
She realizes that she is pregnant after the split. She raises Lilly as best as she can, with the help of her parents. Now, Lilly has finished school and is teaching kids. She isn't the wealthiest person ever, but she has a home and can provide for her daughter Ashlyn. After, seeing the look on Cash's face, she knows he is telling her the truth about that text. He wants to be a part of Ashlyn's life, and she is more than willing to let him. And those cute children, made me my heart melt. I just could not stop smiling throughout this whole book.
It had a real 'feel good' vibe, with some awesome steam. The chemistry between Cash and Lilly was really hot. I just loved it. I loved seeing Cash connect with his daughter for the first time. And I also enjoyed seeing Lilly become a mother figure for Jax. They were such a beautiful little family. Like I said, I could not stop melting and swooning from this book. She made so freaking mad that I wanted to kick some ass.
But, other than that, loved it. There was some drama thrown in near the end to keep things interesting, which I really enjoyed, even if it was a little over the cray cray meter. I was also glad Aurora Rose Reynolds fixed the problems in her writing that I had been bothering me from the first two books. She doesn't randomly skip time from one paragraph to the next. You now know when time changes and flowed a lot better because of that. No more having to read the last paragraph to know what happened. I was really happy about that.
This one is probably my favourite of this series. And now I am looking forward to Nico's book more than ever.
Now you're probably sitting there and thinking to yourself, why is this crazy bitch reading book 3 when 4. Select Category When should it reach? I liked Cash and Lilly so much more. Want to Read saving…. Getting to see this interaction with them roughly twelve years into the future was so enjoyable.
Should be really good. I loved this story. I originally read this well over a year ago, before I got pickier with my books. Cash met Lily and fell head over heels. He knew she was his "boom" and he wanted to start a life with her. Things were going great until a woman from his past tells him she's pregnant. She tells him that he either cuts off all ties with others or she will terminate the pregnancy. Cash has no choice and for the sake of his unborn child he has to break it off with Lily.
He was devastated but did what he thought was best at the time, not knowing that Lily had life changing news too. Lily was devastated by Cash's abrupt ending of their relationship. Especially after she found out she is pregnant. She texts him and the answer she gets back breaks her heart even though we all know it wasn't him She goes on with her life crushed because she loved him. Fast forward 4 years. Lily runs into Cash with his son. He is angry at first because he thinks she has kept his daughter from him.
Lily let's him have it. He has no idea what she is talking about. Cash heart has been broken over losing lily before and he knows that he was never letting her or their child out of his sight. I was heartbroken when Cash broke it off with Lily even though I understood why. I did not like that he attempted to make his marriage work with the ex wife because he didn't love her and she was holding their son over his head. I also felt he could have been more apologetic for all that Lily went through.
He did go above and beyond once they were back together. He was alpha-licious and took charge of the relationship. He would NOT lose the love of his life a second time. Jules, the mother of his son, was a psycho bitch and made their lives hell. View all 18 comments. Book 1, I really did not like! Book 2 was slightly better, but I had no strong feeling about it either way! This book was so much better!
I liked Cash and Lilly so much more. Cash had not spent the last few years of his life being a man tart unlike his brothers! He was determined to get Lilly back, and his pain at having lost her and hurt her felt 3. He was determined to get Lilly back, and his pain at having lost her and hurt her felt real. And Lilly, she did not just fall into some "man fog" where his kiss made her forget all good sense and just go along with what the man said. Again though, editing needs to be better, speech marks were missing, and at the end, in the epilogue, what was meant to be Lilly's POV was actually titled "Sophie" Who is the h for the next book and we get a teaser chapter for Nico and Sophie's story Time jumps, I felt this book suffered for the time jumps!
I wanted the scenes where Jax and Cash together come to Lilly and Ashlyns house, how that went! I wanted the first few weeks of them being back together and the issues they had that and blending together as a family. But after the first week of them being back together which we jump ahead during also we all of a sudden jump ahead 2 months.
For me, I wanted that time. But in saying that, this book had some great humorous moments. My favourite being when Cash "met" Lilly's parents over skype I suck my lips into my mouth, trying not to burst out laughing. My dad is wearing his hunting gear. His short hair is slicked away from his face, and under his eyes are black smudges of paint. He also has his shotgun out and his hunting knife in a knife holster under his arm I know how to go into places and get out unnoticed.
I know how to kill someone before they even know I'm there. And I know how to-" "yeah yeah, I know, but what does that have to do with your hunting gear? Even tried to have me button him up, and it was still a no go" So, will I be getting book 4 about Nico and Sophie! So while the series was a bit of a dud start for me I will be continuing to read it!
Everything comes to a stop when Cash is forced to choose between his unborn child and Lilly. This is like the other books in the series. Everything happens really quick. Cash was another hot Alpha. Lilly was a very likeable heroine. I guess the rating dropped for me because crazy ex storylines isnt one that I am particularly fond of. For a second chance romance , this has very little angst.
I love all the characters and there was good sexy time. An enjoyable addition to the series. View all 15 comments. Dec 24, T.
