    • An excellent, thought provoking, practical book. This is a powerful little book I'll plan to read again and again! Some of them resonate a little deeper based on life experience, but the Biblical stories as their source is solid, and well developed by the author. Modern day stories and personal experiences bring these prayers even more meaningful! These 21 prayers are definitely worth committing to memory, and since they're so short, it should be an easy task! Because we were reading the book together in a group, we were asked to read only a certain number of chapters over a number of weeks skipping around as we did so, I suppose in order to highlight certain prayers.

    Afterwards, I read the chapters not included in these weeks and actually came away appreciating this book even more.
